Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde took to her Twitter page to criticize the Nigerian government over the shocking death of UNILAG student, Oluchi Anekwe.
Anekwe was electrocuted on Tuesday, September 8, when a high tension cable fell on her in front of the Sodeinde Hall of residence in the campus. Reports revealed that the young lady was immediately rushed to the Lagos State Teaching Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
And the veteran actress took the government to task, insisting that both the State and Federal government ought to have issued statement regarding the death of the student. She took to Twitter to register her grievance. In doing so, she tagged CNN and TIME magazine and that was all some Nigerians needed to zero in on her to school her.
And may Oluchi Anekwe rest in peace.
