Hearts and mouths were aflutter after Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez shared a kiss at the 2016 Latin Grammy Awards this week.
Following their duet of “Olvidame y Pega la Vuleta,” the exes shared the intimate moment in front of millions of people. And some noticed.
Anthony and Lopez, who co-parent 8-year-old twins, have remained good friends since their split. In fact, Anthony is producing his ex-wife’s upcoming album.
“You are giving us classics that will remain with us forever,” Lopez said, presenting her ex-husband with the Latin Recording Academy’s Person of the Year award.
“You will always be many things in my life,” she said. “A mentor, a soulmate, a father. He is not only a Person of the Year—he is a living legend.”
It was a lot.
Afterwards, the crowd cried, “Kiss!”
So they did.
So people started talking.
But apparently, his wife, Shannon De Lima, wasn’t fooled. Just one day after the ‘friendly kiss’ shared between the exes, reports have surfaced that Anthony has separated from his wife. E! News alleges Anthony, 48, and the Venezuelan model, 28, “recently split” after two years of marriage. De Lima, who wedded Anthony in November 2014, was absent from the Latin Grammy Awards. The couple dated on and off for two years.
This was Marc’s third marriage. Anthony was married to former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres for four years before they called it quits in 2004. They share two sons. That same year, he went on to marry Lopez. Jennifer and Marc announced their divorce in 2011 after seven years of marriage. They have two children, 8-year-old twins Max and Emma.
