LOVE UNDENIABLE

I open my eyes to thoughts of you

Deeply etched in all levels of my consciousness

At first I thought it wrong, unusual

Even wicked to say the least

Then you went and found your way

Found your way to the centre

Found your way to the core of my soul

My essence, my very existence

Startling as this realization was

It’s insidiously grown

Deeper and stronger each night

All encompassing, it takes control

Takes over me like a smooth yet painful possession

Each bout of pain soothing, beautifully intense and welcome

As it winds its way through my senses

It metamorphoses into something ethereal

Ethereal and deeply rooted in reality

Till it becomes me…one in me

As I let it permeate me

Through thousands of miles, space and time

Holding me spell bound in the mystery that’s you

While your gentle soul takes me prisoner

And accepts my shameless surrender

Keeping the world from me

But letting me be in the world through you

You make me feel things in different dimensions

Maybe even realms

Where we exist but like a million tiny nerve endings

In frame with time, the universe

Nothing but us

Mind Body Soul.

And with this realization comes an acknowledgement

That I am undeniably in love with you

The rarest form ever love could take

  1. The writer is female? (I’m guessing Amara Allison is a lady’s name) Wow. It’s not every day I come across a love poem written by a female with such unfettered acknowledgement of her love for her love interest. Men are usually the vocal poets on love.

  2. Oooh Thank you Mandy 🙂

  3. Awwww…….Bae! This is from the core of you…..Tammy is sure lucky to have you. Deep, soulful words
