“Gay culture is harming straight men,” heterosexual blogger laments

Is the acceptance and promotion of LGTBQ culture harming straight men? According to right-wing blogger Ben Bera, the answer is a resounding YES!

“I’m here to talk about how gay rights and the acceptance of gay culture in the mainstream is harming men on a personal level,” Bera writes in a bizarre new op-ed that would almost be comical if he weren’t being serious.

Bera says thanks to the “misguided fury” of the 1960s, gay people have become “intimately entwined with the mainstream,” and that’s harmful to straight men.

How so?

First, it’s turned them vain.

It’s no secret that gay men are obsessed with their looks, Bera says. Over time, this obsession has rubbed off onto straight men, or as he likes to call them “ordinary men.”

“To adopt the daily rituals of moisturizing, waxing, applying fake tan, etc., is crossing the thin line between healthily enhancing one’s self-confidence and being consumed by vanity.”

Then there’s the growing emphasis on fashion.

“The fashion industry is overly populated with women and gay men, this dangerous mix churns out ever more effeminate looking styles and grooming products for men,” Bera warns.

Another harmful impact he claims gay culture has had on straight men is that it’s hurt their ability to bond. Straight men are afraid to have close friendships with other straight men, he claims, for fear of looking gay. As a result, it has put “a giant wedge in their ability to forge genuine friendships.”

“Gay culture has helped to all but destroyed men’s understanding of platonic love,” he writes, “and it’s clear to me why we see so many men today suffering from various forms of depression and anxiety.”

Lastly, Bera says, gay culture gives men “unhealthy sexual appetites.”

“A man having a bit of fun with a cute girl is healthy and natural,” he writes. “Men need to play the field to a degree, but today, men, from their teens onward, are becoming promiscuous to an unhealthy degree.”

Of course, this is because they see gay men being promiscuous and so they think it’s OK. Then there’s the mainstream media that’s constantly “talking about the benefits of ‘analingus’ to anal sex.”

Bera adds: “This obsession with constant sexual gratification, exploring ever more degenerate ways to get that gratification, is leading men down a seedy and perverse path. This has all come about through the promotion of the homosexual lifestyle.”

He concludes by writing there are “a few” gay men who he “greatly respects,” but, in general, he believes homosexuality is causing several “societal damage.”

“The embracing of gay culture across the Western world has harmed, more than any other group, heterosexual men.”

  1. I just read one piece of bullshit paragraph but wait first, make I drive reach where I dey go. Inukwa harming straight male bonding

  2. We can accept LGTB without turning them into gods from the highest heaven to be worshipped. Look at Bruce Jenner, as soon as he changed jersey he, sorry she, became a deity to be worshipped, praised and glorified. Looking at the far left media, from say, Mars, you would think that everyone on earth is gay, lesbian, transgender or queer. It will never occur you that there are still straight people, who are even in the majority. All these overhyping gay people don’t give me joy. Live and let’s live and not live and let us worship you. For what?

Um, Kingsley, for all this that you have spewed, please can you point out a single LGBT individual who asked to be worshipped. Take your time, I’m waiting.

    • I’m sorry, I don’t understand your statement. You see straight people everywhere but see one gay person and it seems like they’re the only people you see? How many straight people have you seen today VS. the gay ones? Take a census and then we can properly get back to this topic.

  3. Wow!
    Such intelligence…..
    I’m amazed

  4. 1) Straight men have always been afraid to bond with themselves since the world began. It is until gay men started becoming less hidden and more visible that they started showing other men that it’s OK to bond with another man without the fear of having any sexual attraction whatsoever. This point is moot.

    2) We’re all obsessed with looks, it’s not as a result of gay culture but rather a result of the changing times. If a straight man finds a an outfit overtly feminine, he can always go for the more masculine look. A good denim trousers matched with a bland top, preferable white, black, or gray will do the trick. Be warned though, some gay men love that look too.

3)Since the days of Cain and Abel, men have been promiscuous. It’s not gay men that are allowed to have more than one wife in various nations on earth. It’s comical to think promiscuity is a gay thing.

4)All your points are moot, you should be writing for Comedy Central.

  5. The acceptance of Black men into the American society is a serious menace to the balance that has been existing for centuries and that is why there is serious racial problems in the US.

Black men in the mainstream society is unnatural and distracts from the ways ordinary men (white men) should relate and bond.

First, they are too sexual with their ladies, this puts a lot of pressure on white men to perform during sex. There’s even a saying among ladies nowadays “once you go black you don’t go back”

Secondly, they -black men- have taken over Hip Pop. This is not fair as it stars dictating what is in vogue and this ultimately rubs off on white culture.

Additionally, black men are generally to dark- this makes their skin very strong and not liable to be damaged by the sun. So they can stay out during summer for a longer period – ordinary white men cannot do this. So this is shifting the balance of masculinity and redefining the traditional role of men as strong ? and efficient.

Finally, there are “a few” black men who I “greatly respect” but, in general, I believe black men are causing several “societal damage.”

“The embracing of black culture and people across the Western world has harmed, more than any other group, white men.”

  6. All these dumb as fuck self hating homos that won’t allow themselves to be great.

No straight person (male/female) no matter how ignorant, bothers themselves with gay issues unless it affects them directly.

The writer has homosexual proclivities but is very uncomfortable with it. You can tell from the ‘article’ he wrote. You can sense these things
