Dear Nigerian Bigots,
The best way to hide things from you is in print (words).
BIGOTS DON’T READ.
Remember how I say “We all might be going to hell”? Well, it might be prison.
Remember how your mouths run like diarrhea when it comes to homosexuality?
Remember how you thumb through scriptures to buttress your disgust at gay people like you’re sinless?
Remember how you think Dante’s Rings of Hell are real? You believe in different hell for different sins, I guess.
I can wager about 75% of your lot have not read Section 214 of the Nigerian Constitution that says, “fourteen years”.
“… against the order of nature.”
- Are into BDSM (Kinky Fuckery)
- Have sex with children
- Watch porn
- Have sex with animals
- Have anal sex with a young boy
- Rape people
Subsection 2 talks about bestiality. But, that is not the issue for now.
I guess heterosexual relationships are not spared. After all, sodomy includes anal or oral sex.
Bigots, can you say you haven’t engaged in sexual deviant acts?
Lie to yourself, not to God.
If you have anal or oral sex or indulged in other deviant acts yet, gay-bash people, kindly accept this certificate of hypocrisy! Let the shame hang around your neck until you drop the sanctimonious act.
Some of you threaten to call the police to arrest gay people…
… yet, not far from you, a man beats his wife.
On your street is a woman that abuses her house help.
Yet, you want to report a crime that has no victim.
SHAME ON YOU!
- Let he who is without sin be the first to cast a stone.
- Live and let live.
- “Let peace be. Let life be.” – Chinelo Okparanta’s Under the Udala Trees.
- Let people pursue happiness, so far they don’t hurt another person.
Gay people don’t need our rage. Corruption and bad governance need our anger!
If we were united to fight Ebola, we can fight corruption and bad governance.
Do we want our kids to be born into a country that has normalized corruption?
Wouldn’t we be disappointed in ourselves if we’re talking about poor electricity in 2026?
There are more places of worship than we have factories. How do we explain that we claim to be religious yet we are globally known for being corrupt?
Please, let’s channel our rage to making our country a better place.
Gay people are not the problem! Corrupt people are.
