Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reportedly to star in their first film together in almost a decade.
The couple haven’t been seen together in a movie since starring in ‘Mr & Mrs Smith’ back in 2005, which sparked their real-life love affair, but it is believed they have ”an exciting new venture” in the pipeline for the near future.
The 38-year-old actress has reportedly penned the script for the upcoming movie, which will be set in Europe.
An insider told JustJared.com: ”People will not want to miss it!”
Whilst there’s no concrete details on the movie’s plot, JustJared’s sources are reporting that “the film is set in Europe,” calling it an “exciting new venture.” There’s also further speculation from The Hollywood Reporter that the movie could be “a relationship drama that Jolie wrote several years ago.” They add that the project “centered on a couple with issues who take a vacation in a last-ditch effort to save their marriage.” Brad and Angelina having couple’s issues? As long as it’s purely fictional, we’re on board.
By now we all know the story of how nine years ago Pitt and Jolie fell in love on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith and have been together ever since. But with their 10 year anniversary as a couple coming up, what better way to celebrate than to share some screen time together again!
It’s been a busy few months for the couple and things show no signs of slowing down, with the release of Jolie’s Maleficent coming on May 30th. She’s also working on the post production of Unbroken which she not only directed but is also co-producing alongside Joel and Ethan Coen.
As for Brad, he’s had his hands full too, having just wrapped World War II film Fury which is scheduled for release on November 14th. Still, we’re sure these two could find some time to fit in another on-screen appearance together.
